Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo.

Terrain: Clay marl and grey sand.

Orientation: South–West.

Elevation: 270 m a.s.l.

Vinification: Gentle pressing and destemming of the grapes; fermentation in oak vats with indigenous yeasts, followed by 30 days of maceration with repeated pump-over of the skins.

Aging: In French oak barrel for 3 years with the absolute minimum amount of racking. No fining nor physico-chemical stabilisation before bottling. Aging in bottle for at least 12 months.

Total SO2: 35 mg/l.

Description: Ruby color with tawny shades. Intense aromas of dried rose, liquorice, tobacco, and leather. With aging hints of tar. Dry, strong but velvety flavor, complex tannins, and longfinish.

Perfect pairing: Roasted or braised red meat, game, aged cheese.
