Vinification: After the bunches are pressed and destemmed, the juice starts its fermentation in open Slavonian oak barrels for 4 days. After that, it’s transferred in barriques or tonneaux for 11 months where it undergoes MLF.
Aging: In French oak barrels and tonneaux for 4 years.
Total SO2: 38 mg/l.
Description: Deep ruby color with garnet hues. Ripe black fruits aromas, especially sour cherry and blackberry, with hints of spices like thyme and sage. The flavors are the same of the aromas, with full body and great elegance, high ripe tannins, and long finish.
Perfect pairing: Roasted red meat, stew, game, aged cheese.
