Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo.
Terrain: Clay marl and gray sand.
Orientation: South- East, South–West.
Elevation: 260-280 m a.s.l.
Total production: 10600 bottles/year.
Vinification: Gentle pressing and destemming of the grapes; fermentation in stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts, followed by 15 days of maceration with repeated pump-over of the skins at a controlled temperature of 30°C.
Aging: In French oak barrels for 30 months with the absolute minimum amount of racking. Aging in bottle for at least 12 months.
Total SO2: 42 mg/l.
Description: Deep ruby color. Intense aromas of ripe red fruits, dried rose, and violet. Dry, complex tannins, and long finish.
Perfect pairing: Roasted or braised red meat, game, aged cheese.
